Poker Player Bios

Isabelle Mercier is another Team Pokerstars pro and a born Canadian. Mercier is seen as one of the leading pro women poker players and although she has yet to win herself a bracelet in the WSOP, she has had some major accomplishments including six money finishes at the WSOP, and one final table at an EPT event.

Phil Ivey is considered to be the Tiger Woods of poker and has shown a remarkable talent for his reading abilities and aggressiveness at the tables. He is a regular high stakes player and is a co-founder of Full Tilt Poker, which is where he is most often spotted online. With five WSOP bracelets to his name and more than 40 money finishes in major events, Ivey has been named as one of the top players in history.

David Williams is a self-taught poker player and although he has never had any serious formal training he has had an incredible career thus far with a 2nd place finish in the World Series of Poker, losing out to Greg Raymer and multiple money finishes in various other events. Williams, who qualified online for his WSOP seat now plays for Team Ignition and is a regular high stakes player. He has made several television appearances including High Stakes Poker and resides in Las Vegas

Jennifer Harman grew up playing poker has become one of the most successful women in professional poker. She is a regular at the “Big Game” and has played some of the highest staked games in history. Not only is she a profound player but she has co-authored in some top selling poker books and is the founder of the Creating Organ Donation Awareness foundation. Harman has two WSOP bracelets to her name in addition to 40+ money finishes.

Justin Bonomo was at one time known for the controversy he created at one time with multi-accounting and taking advantage of a software glitch. Over the last few years he has evolved into a very competitive pro and has had an extremely successful career over the last 18 months. He has signed his first big sponsorship with Ignition Poker and as of to date has had more than 15 money finishes, of which five are from the 2008 WSOP.

Mike Matusow is probably one of the most comical characters in all of poker. With his ability to land himself in the hot seat due to his vocal abilities and his cattiness at the table, he is one of the most talked about pro players. That being said he has also had a phenomenal career with 3 WSOP bracelets, 25 money finishes which includes a 6th place in a main event he has done fairly well for himself. Mike is also part of the 40+ members of Team Full Tilt and is a regular online player in the high stake games.

Jean-Robert Bellande is a name most familiarize with the hit TV show Survivor: China however he is also an accomplished pro player, recently signing with Ignition Poker around the same time as Bonomo. Bellande is a frequent visitor to the Bellagio and goes by the name “Bobby” or “Action Bob”.  He has had over a dozen major money finishes and came close to winning his first bracelet in the 2008 WSOP where he placed 2nd in the $1,500 Limit Hold'em Shootout event.

Joe Hachem was raised in Australia and after winning the 2005 WSOP Main Event he signed on with PokerStars. He is one of the top tournament winners in terms of winnings and has won more than $10,000,000 this far in his career. His track record includes over 20 money finishes including the main event in 2005 and another title in the EPT

Patrik Antonius specializes in heads up play and is the most recent addition to the Full Tilt Poker team. Born in Finland he was originally a top model along with tennis player/coach. Although he has yet to win any bracelets, this Finish player does hold some incredible wins including an EPT title, and has cashed in more than a dozen major events. Antonius has also made frequent appearances on High Stakes Poker.
