Trump Taj Mahal Partnered with Ultimate Gaming in Summer 2013
Amaya Gaming Group Inc. announced on Tuesday it would provide online gaming content to the Ultimate Gaming website in New Jersey. Trump Taj Mahal Associates LLC has a partnership with Ultimate Gaming for New Jersey online betting. Ultimate Gaming is associated with the Station Casinos in Las Vegas, as well as the UFC mixed martial arts fighting organization. Amaya Gaming Group describes itself as an “entertainment solutions provider”, with an international network of clients.
The website involved in the deal is ucasino.com, also known as Ultimate Casino. The site will be the online gaming portal for the Atlantic City casino, Trump Taj Mahal. The deal calls for Amaya to provide its proprietary games on the Ultimate Gaming website, though not all of these games have been approved by the state at the moment. Ultimate Gaming allowed pre-registration back in November 2013, when it first became legal to sign up players. An undisclosed numbers of players have signed up since, but Tuesday’s announcement shows an intention to become more active in the market.
Ultimate Gaming and Ultimate Poker
Ugaming’s majority owners, Ultimate Gaming, was established in 2010. Ultimate Gaming also owns Ultimate Poker, a poker gaming portal out of Summerlin, Nevada. Ultimate Gaming founders are Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, who built the Station Casinos Inc, which owns a number of the “locals” casinos in the Las Vegas area. These local casinos include 8 casinos and 10 total resorts in the Las Vegas area. In 2001, the Fertitta Brothers bought the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which is why their various businesses use the word “ultimate”.
UltimateGaming’s iPoker website went online on April 30, 2013, and was the first legal online poker website in the USA since the passage of the UIGEA. That website was used by the Nevada State Gaming Control Board to test the geolocation technology used to determine whether a player is physically inside the state of Nevada.
Amaya Gaming Group
Amaya Gaming provides gaming support for companies in 12 countries worldwide, including online casinos, poker rooms, and sportsbooks. Its licensing partners read like a who’s who of online gaming firms, including Bwin, William HIll, Sportingbet, 888 Holdings, Gala/Coral, Betssson, BetVictor, Betfair, Bet365. Amaya Gaming Group is a member of eCogra and is licensed in Alderney, while it’s games are TST Verified.
Because most of these gaming websites do not accept American players, Amaya Gaming products might not be that familiar to US online gamblers at present. They have several favorites on the international market. Amaya Gaming slots can be found on websites based out of the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, the United States, Canada, and Mexico, along with several other nations.
Games Not Fully Certified Yet
Only 70% of the games offered by Amaya Gaming are certified in New Jersey, so the website will have to wait to have its full stock of game titles. Despite that, Ugaming will have hundreds of games to offer, if you count slots titles. Games like Chili Gold, Frogs ‘n Flies, Seregeti Diamonds, and Bars & Bells will be available from the beginning.
David Baazov, CEO of Amaya, released a statement about the new partnership. Baazov’s statement read, “We’re extremely pleased to add Ultimate Gaming to our growing list of licensees providing our online casino content for real money gaming in New Jersey.”
Along with the traditional online gaming version of the games, HTML5 versions of all the titles will be made available for New Jersey gamblers from Day 1.
David Baazov went on to address the mobile gaming aspect of the business, saying, “We will be looking to increase our market share on our licensee’s websites by providing new and innovative gaming content, an increasing selection of HTML5 games, and online and mobile versions of popular game titles that are currently on our land-based gaming machines.”
Trump Taj Mahal
When Trump Taj Mahal was opened in 1990, it instantly became one of the most recognizable landmarks in Atlantic City. Besides the Borgata Casino, the property has the biggest gaming area in Atlantic City. The site has been depicted in several movies, including Rounders.
The casino is one of two Atlantic City gaming properties owned by Donald Trump, along with Trump Plaza. He also owned Trump Marina until 2011, when it was purchased by Landry’s Restaurants and renamed The Golden Nugget Casino. Because Trump Plaza and Trump Taj Mahal each have gaming licenses in the state of New Jersey, both have the right to operate online casinos and card rooms. Both also can partner with global gaming companies, including American firms like Amaya Gaming Group.
